If possible, please arrive for rehearsals already dressed in your costume. Arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your scheduled time, find your group and warm up. Please come in through the back entrance of Glen Eden Playhouse Theatre. Group photographs will be taken during the rehearsal as well as action photos, so remember to bring the required dancewear for the dance. Note that parents/guardians cannot watch the rehearsals.
We realise that the allocated time might not be convenient for everyone but we need every dancer at the rehearsals as this is our only time available for them to practice together as a group onstage. We appreciate your support and understanding with this.

SHOWCASE PERFORMANCES
Friday 12th December | 6:00pm show | Arrive at 5:30pm if in the 1st half, 6:30pm if in the 2nd half. No finale or prize giving. Dancers may leave after they have danced. If you are watching this performance your child will be looked after backstage until the end of the show. Adult item is not performing this day. |
Saturday 13thDecember | 2:30pm show with Junior prize giving | Arrive at 2pm if in the 1st half, 3pm if in the 2ndhalf. Full show with all items. Finale and prize giving at the end of the show is in full costume for Junior School students. Senior students may leave after dancing, but we need seniors to help assist with Junior groups and taking them onstage for finale. Please let us know if you are able to assist. |
Sunday 14thDecember | 2:30pm show with Senior prize giving | Arrive at 2pm if in the 1st half, 3pm if in the 2ndhalf. Full show with all items. Finale and prize giving at the end of the show is in full costume for Senior School students. Junior school students may leave after they have danced. |
Note; unless your child has been allocated a fast change dressing room, no parent will be allowed backstage during the show (unless you are the official helper for the group). Each item will have one parent helper to look after the group and assist children as needed, please let your class teacher if you are able to help.
All dancers perform all 3 shows. Children stay backstage for the entire show on the night of their prizegiving. Please give your child something quiet to do e.g. colouring in book.

JUNIOR School – Primary Jazz 1-2, Junior Jazz 1-3, Elementary Jazz 1-2, Pre Primary, Primary, Grade 1-3 Ballet, Grade 1-3 Tap, Level 1-4 Urban Ignition, Acrobatics, Encore Theatre Level 1-4, Lucidity Level 1-6.
SENIOR School – Elementary Jazz 3 and above, Grade 4 and above Ballet and Tap, Senior Lyrical, Urban Ignition Level 5 and above, Encore Theatre Level 5 and above, Lucidity Level 7 and above.
*Grades are worked out by what grade you are NOW, not by what grade you sat in your last exam.*
